Job Description

As a Healthcare VR Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing virtual reality (VR) applications and experiences for the healthcare industry. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and technologists to create immersive training simulations, therapeutic experiences, and medical visualization tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VR development and a passion for leveraging immersive technology to improve healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop VR applications and experiences for healthcare training, therapy, and visualization.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand clinical requirements and objectives.
  • Implement VR simulations and scenarios that enhance medical training and education.
  • Develop therapeutic VR experiences for pain management, rehabilitation, and mental health treatment.
  • Create medical visualization tools and interactive anatomical models for educational purposes.
  • Conduct testing and optimization to ensure the effectiveness and usability of VR applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in VR technology and healthcare applications.
  • Provide input on creative concepts and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a VR Developer, Unity Developer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in VR development tools and platforms such as Unity3D, Unreal Engine, or similar.
  • Experience with medical imaging software and DICOM data is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, C++, or Python.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
