Job Description

As a VR Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing virtual reality applications and experiences for various platforms, including PC, console, mobile, and standalone VR headsets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create immersive and interactive VR content that pushes the boundaries of technology and user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VR development and a passion for creating innovative and immersive experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop VR applications and experiences using Unity3D, Unreal Engine, or other VR development tools.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to create compelling VR content and interactions.
  • Implement VR features such as hand tracking, spatial audio, and locomotion techniques.
  • Optimize VR applications for performance, scalability, and compatibility across different platforms and devices.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and stability of VR experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in VR technology and applications.
  • Provide input on creative concepts and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Ensure that all VR applications and experiences are properly documented and optimized for performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a VR Developer, Unity Developer, Unreal Engine Developer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in VR development tools and platforms such as Unity3D, Unreal Engine, Oculus SDK, SteamVR, etc.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, C++, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with 3D graphics, animation, and physics simulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
